The Barefoot Indian, The making of a messiahress
The Barefoot Indian expresses eternal wisdom in the context of modern day to day life, in a fresh, sensitive, intuitive, humorous and profoundly inspirational way.
The main character in the book responds to a job vacancy for the position of Messiah/Messiahress, suspecting that it might be a recruitment campaign for a reality TV show.
She goes for an interview at the Head Office and realises that it isn’t a spoof when she comes face to face with all the great prophets and philosophers who have made an impact on the world.
As these people are Messiahs in their own right, she asks them why they don’t do the job that is advertised; only to be told, “You can’t tread on the same piece of water twice.”
It is explained to her that she has to qualify for the job by undergoing a unique training programme. The training coach assigned to her is The Barefoot Indian who is extraordinarily beautiful, witty and wise.
The Barefoot Indian guides her through challenges that she is given and is a constant source of inspiration on her journey.
In addition to ‘hands-on’ mentoring from The Barefoot Indian she also receives encouragement, wisdom and ‘Ponderisms’ from Head Office via e-mails.
The book’s heroine is transformed through the training. Amongst other things, she discovers beauty which cannot be found in a mirror; she learns how to ask and receive; she comes to understand the true nature of healing; she discovers that limitations are self imposed.
And, finally, she realises that Messiah/Messiahress is what others call you, it is not what you call yourself.

Miracles Are Made of This

Miracles Are Made of This is a contemporary story about wisdom; the one and only ingredient which enables miracles to happen.
The central character is female and she has found wisdom. It was there, all along, in the one place she had never previously looked; within her. Her enlightenment was achieved through a training programme set for her by wise people.
Miracles Are Made of This charts the next phase in her never ending story, which requires her to set training programmes for others, so that they, too, can connect with their own innate wisdom. The tasks and exercises she sets are all in the context of peoples day to day lives, adhering to the fundamental principle that in the midst of the apparently ordinary the extraordinary can be found.
Life changing wisdom bubbles to the surface in Miracles Are Made of This. Readers can easily identify with the everyday situations and interact with them. Light heartedness and humour feature strongly as do intuitiveness and profound inspiration.
Miracles Are Made of This continues in the same rich vein as The Barefoot Indian
